Social Skills Summer Camp
DUE TO THE IMPACT OF COVID-19 OUR IN PERSON CAMP HAS BEEN CANCELLED FOR THE 2020 SEASON.
However, we are pleased to introduce an exciting option for continuing to learn vital social skills in a fun and engaging way through NWSS:
DIY SUMMER CAMP 2020
Think of it as, Summer-Camp-in-a-Box for you and your family to complete from the safety of your home this summer, complete with a private online group to collaborate and connect with other Northwest Social Skills Families.
SESSION 1: KNOWING MYSELF AND MY FEELINGS
SESSION 2: COPING SKILLS TOOLBOX
SESSION 3: THINKING FLEXIBLY
SESSION 4: FACE, TONE, AND BODY LANGUAGE
Cost
Each kit costs:
$50 for the first child (complete kit)
$30 for each additional kid (supplemental)
kits will be available to pick up on July 1st or 2nd from 10am-4pm or can be mailed or delivered.

Curriculum
Our curriculum is created by our executive director, Kobi Wilson. Kobi is a master’s level Special Education teacher with over 20 years of experience working with kids and teens with special needs. The SSTS curriculum is drawn from multiple evidence-based sources as well the teams experiences with behavior, social skills, theatre, children and teens.
